What is REEF?
The Real Estate Endowment Fund (REEF) is a mission-driven initiative designed to unlock long-term strategic capital for nonprofits serving disadvantaged children through education and faith.
Unlike a traditional foundation or one-time grant, REEF — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — is built around sustained partnership, connecting donors to organizations, and organizations to the resources they need to grow over time.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide sustained support for charitable, educational, and faith-based initiatives. Our primary focus is the care, development, and empowerment of underserved K-12 children.

Why REEF Exists
A personal conviction, not a corporate initiative
Many K–12 organizations can raise short-term funds to address urgent needs. Far fewer have a long-term strategy for impact capital: funding that fuels growth and transformation over decades.
REEF changes that.
We create a perpetual giving pipeline by leveraging private real estate investments. Instead of a one-time gift, your contribution serves as an ongoing source of support, benefiting children both now and in the years to come.
The Problem
Many high-impact organizations are building year to year
Strong nonprofits serving disadvantaged children often do extraordinary work — without the long-term capital to grow, stabilize, or plan beyond the next funding cycle. REEF was created to address that structural gap.
01
The demands of annual fundraising leave little room for strategic, long-term growth.
02
Many organizations lack investment talent to build long-term financial resource.
03
Many donors and organizations lack a structured vehicle for long-term mission investment
04
Sustained philanthropic partnership
Our Model
How REEF connects capital to impact
REEF isn't a grant-maker. It's a long-term strategic partner — one that believes the right capital, paired with the right relationship, changes trajectories for children and communities.
Mission Alignment
REEF identifies nonprofits doing the highest-impact work in education and faith — organizations serving disadvantaged children at a stage where capital can accelerate outcomes.
Capital Partnership
Donors and foundations commit capital with full transparency into how it is deployed. REEF maintains the relationship between funder and partner across the long term.
Long-term Outcomes
REEF tracks and shares impact, keeping all partners accountable to mission. The goal is sustained growth — not a single grant cycle.
Where we work
Two areas. One focus.
REEF concentrates its partnerships in the areas where mission-aligned capital has the greatest potential for lasting change.

Education
Schools, tutoring programs, and academic support organizations serving disadvantaged children — from early childhood through high school completion.
Faith
Faith-rooted nonprofits building character, community, and opportunity for children and families through programs grounded in spiritual formation.
Our Advantage
Lower costs. Higher Impact.
Then let compounding do the rest.
REEF is designed to help charitable capital work harder over time. By cutting many of the costs that typically weigh down philanthropic and investment vehicles, more of each dollar stays invested — and compounds for future giving.
Cost Savings
No Foundation Fees
Reef eliminates typical foundation administrative fees, saving an estimated 0.5% to 1.0% annually — capital that stays invested instead.
Cost Savings
No Sponsor Promote
MLG Capital donates its sponsor promote back to REEF, a potential savings of 1-2%+ annually versus traditional structures.
Investment Quality
Institutional–Quality Access
REEF provides access to institutional-quality real estate investments aimed at generating attractive long-term returns for supported organizations.
The power
of compounding
While future performance cannot be guaranteed, historical results support the potential for returns significantly above those typically achieved in more traditional charitable investment structures.
